Social media is a broad term that includes websites and email marketing, discussed elsewhere on my site. Here, I am breaking out specifically Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Most businesses choose to have a presence on at least one of these platforms, to be determined by their goals, target audience and business category. Entry costs are low, but keeping sites updated can represent a significant investment in time or money.
Working with me
Per my standard approach, I am available to assist in any way from navigating while you drive, to managing the whole process.
Clients most often request one or more of these services relating to their social media:
- posting content that we develop together
- creating artwork for posts or Facebook banners
- technical assistance
- creating and using a YouTube channel
- enhancing / improving their content
They also ask for help in determining which platform is best for them. Forbes has some solid advice here; I’d be glad to review this with you, as part of helping you choose the best fit.
Working with clients with their social media is one of the more rewarding projects I take on, as it is often very collaborative and also long term. My favorite configuration is when I am involved in all aspects of their brand: website, email marketing, print media, and social platforms. Having a dedicated person handling all of these aspects is convenient and beneficial for the business as well!
Pricing
The amount and scope of work on an organization’s social media varies greatly. Therefore, billing varies from hourly, per project, to a retainer arrangement.
Let’s discuss what is best for you.
